Ερωτηματολόγιο για την έρευνα “Evaluation and assessment of INSPIRE directive 2007/2/EC, data sharing between public authorities and public access and use provisions”

Αγαπητά μέλη,

σας ενημερώνουμε για το ακόλουθο ερωτηματολόγιο που συντάχθηκε στο πλαίσιο της μελέτης: “Evaluation and assessment of INSPIRE directive 2007/2/EC, data sharing between public authorities and public access and use provisions”

Dear ‘Data provider’,

We address this invitation to you because you are listed as a data provider contact for INSPIRE, in the INSPIRE Geoportal. The European Commission has contracted us,Epsilon, Wageningen Environmental Research and COWI to conduct a study to see how the sharing of geospatial data between public authorities and the public could be improved across the EU. The Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the EU, as expressed by the INSPIRE Directive, plays an important role in facilitating such sharing. However, experience shows that there is room for improvement and that more can be done.

In the context of the study “Evaluation and assessment of INSPIRE directive 2007/2/EC, data sharing between public authorities and public access and use provisions”, we have prepared a survey for this purpose. The study is highly relevant for improving INSPIRE and related policies and initiatives, that benefit from an efficiently functioning spatial data infrastructure.

Therefore we ask you, as the producers and/or users of geospatial data and information, to share with us your experiences and thoughts on the use of this ‘Infrastructure’, by answering a questionnaire that you may find online at this link: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/SR5_CAU_LPA_survey. Depending on your role as a producer, user or both, the survey will take about 15-30 minutes to be completed.

Please note that this is not an official public consultation EC survey. We hope that you can follow shortly as we intend to keep the survey open for approximately 3 weeks, until 15 October 2018.

Kind regards and thanks you for your kind collaboration
